Which is the "main" room in a 2BR

Inspired by another thread about a recent BCV trip. I too, have noticed that at BWV the "main" room - the one to which the phone calls, deliveries and the bill is sent - seems to be the attached studio! We've thought maybe the lower room number was the "main" room but we have been on both sides of the hall so in some cases the 1BR was the lower number but the studio was still viewed by the front desk as the main room. Since we have only traveled with family it has been only a minor annoyance but I could see this as a problem when travelling with another family. Any ideas on how to straighten out the front desk? Mentioning it to them does not seem to help.
