Which is the better time? Spring or Fall

We are considering a cruise and we wondering which time of year is better in so far as the calmness of seas. I understood that the Fall, specifically late Oct or early Nov. can be rough. Is this true?

Well hurricane season is considered very HIGH RISK, and the seas have known to be more turbulent. As you may be aware, there are always chances of having rough seas..THere have been many reports lately of rougher than usual seas out there..

I have sailed in early feb, march, september (hurricane Jeanne) and we had the most amazing weather during the Hurricane cruise, if we had not known it was out there, we never would have...March was also great weather, and the February was awful..Just our luck maybe...

We are hopefully going back in September. We can not afford prime time, and you can not beat those rates....
