which would I get a better rate with - AAA, AP, Entertainment - something else....

they have a pet so staying at a pet-friendly place is a must!!!

Oh I can't look at the AP rate....I have an AP but it needs to be activated.

AAA rate will probably be the best now. Later the AP rate might go down. I would book it with AAA then check the rates for AP periodically and change it if the rate goes down closer. Your AP doesnt have to be activated to book the rate.

At the moment, the AAA rate through the AAA website is $40 cheaper per night on a Club room at PBH than Loews with the APH rate. Royal Pacific may be slightly different, but will still be cheaper through AAA.

I changed my reservation yesterday from the old AAA rate to the new AAA rate at a savings of $30 per night.

I'll keep my eyes open for more deals and rate changes.

The FAN club rate, for which I have the card, included park passes for 3 of the 4 of us and kids' meals, but that would only apply to my DD, too. That price, for a garden view room was $340 per night at PBH. It'll be cheaper for us to buy everything else on our own with the AAA rate.

AAA seems to be the winner. Just about everyone who booked last year (including me), used AAA. A few got a lower rate using APH, but those rates didn't appear until the summer time. So you have to keep checking, and reading posts of people who lowered their rate.

Entertainment rate is history. They have a coupon for $50 or $100 off a 4 night stay as part of a package deal. Don't think many will use it.
