Which is the best location for Grand Villa at OKW?

Thinking about staying there in one in Feb 2006 but have no idea which one it the best location.

I have only stayed in 3 different ones, and I'm just here to say I don't think there is a "best" of any room. All locations will have golf course, water or woods views and most of the GV buildings are spread throughout the resort. For my mind, they are all equal.

You might have a problem even getting one reserved since the 11 month booking indow opened this past March for Febrary 2006.

Carol, I think there is always a chance for February as long as it isn't over President's week. The only problem is that often OKW does their refurbs in February, so some units might be off line at that time.

I think you need to be more specific as to what you consider "best". Best for one person might not be best for another. We stayed in a GV in building #16 last year, and it was great for us. Nice view, near HH. But I think requesting a specific building may lead to disapointment and frustration at check in, not to mention the extra work for the front desk people trying to fill such a specific request. Also, I agree with the others that all of the areas at OKW are great, each for different reasons. I would make a reservation for a GV and then specify what is important to you, in order of importance (non-smoking, near HH, near bus stop, near quiet pool, etc. etc. etc.) limiting your requests to only 2, or 3 at the most. I already have the reservations for for president's week. We need non smoking and I was just wondering if there were better locations than others. What I don't know are any of them over looking any of the side pools, any with blocked/partial views, better for getting the bus etc.

I am thinking bldg 16 just because it is close to the main pool.
