I've walked, taken the boat, taken the skyliner, and taken a bus.

Skyliner is definitely the fastest and in the summer its also the most pleasant to be able to sit and have a breeze up there.

Skyliner is definitely quickest, especially if you want to be let out back at the International Gateway. I do love that there are so many good options, though. The boats and even the walk are so pleasant!

Walking is the quickest, if that's an option (you didn't list it, so I expect it's not). Skyliner will normally be the quicker over the boat, but some Skyliner trips are slower than others. We recently went the other direction from IG to HS, and the trip took 40 minutes due to stops and slowdowns. I expect that's more the exception, but it does happen.
