I booked with the AP rate and was given a "Lakeview" room as a complimentary upgrade for using the AP. I sent in a request for Epcot view and now my confirmation has been changed to "Resortview". If I had tried to book one or the other originally, which would have cost more?

last week and had an awesome view of Epcot. Our reservations read "Resort View With Balcony".

Resort view usually costs more than Lake View. The categories, from least to most expensive, are: Standard, Lake, Resort (no balcony), Resort (w/Balcony) and Club (Concierge). The way it was explained to me is that resort view gives you views of the Boardwalk, B&Y club and/or Epcot. Lake View is the view between the Swan and Dolphin. She also said very few rooms in the Swan have views of Epcot because Boardwalk blocks much of the view.

I have reserved a balcony but I am not sure of the view. My confirmation says " A catagory room, confirmed A balcony"
but no view is listed. I have tried the spg site with my CC number and the confirmation number but comes back as no ressies. I did call the resort and it is reserved on their books. I would like to know if anyone can tell what view I will have.

thanks

I had the same problem when I tried to put in all the information, but when I just put my name and Confirmation number in, it came up. Hope this helps!

sorry, I'm still fairly new here. What is SPG? I looked at the abbreviation page and didn't find it there. Thanks.
