Which is Better?

Beaches and Cream or Ghirardelli. We're not huge ice cream eaters but I thought it would be fun to try one of them on our next trip.

Absolutely Ghirardelli! NO question. skip dinner, eat there.

theres alot of talk about beaches and creme and we were disappointed.

ps i agree they must put crack in the ice cream.

We go to Beaches and Cream every trip and always enjoy their burgers, fries, and ice cream, BUT if we were going JUST for ice cream I would choose Ghiradelli's.

If you were going to one of those for fun and not there ice cream, I'd go to beaches and cream.

You don't have to get ice cream. It's a real nice place. The burgers and dogs are pretty good.

Anything wrong with doing both? They are both worth going to and are at completely different areas, and we are usually at each one at some point in our stay. Enjoy!! We have to wait until July. Bob

Hi, again,
I just remembered that many, many years ago, we had dinner at the Gulf Coast Room in the Contemporary, and they made the hot fudge for the sundae tableside starting from scratch. Also there, the menus given to mywife and daughter had no prices on them. Does anyone else remember this restaurant?

We enjoyed Beaches and Cream. But we have not been to Ghiradelli. The food was good as well as the atmosphere.

Agree with finnie48. Why not try both since they are in different areas. Enjoy the goodies

We did both this last trip - both were great.

At Beaches and Cream there was just the three of us. DH and I picked a specialty sundae to share and my DD got a cone. The sundae was HUGE! My DD ditched the cone and ate the sundae instead and we still didn't finish! We made a special trip just to try the place out. I don't know if I would make a special trip just for this, but if I happened to be near there I would go again.

The smell of the chocolate outside Ghiradelli is wonderful - we always go here when we visit WDW! but then again we are frequently over at the Marketplace to buy more stuff!
