Pop Century, All Star Music, All Star Sports or All Star Movies?

IMO, they are all the same. They just have different themes. Some people rave about POP's food court and the fact that it doesn't share buses with another resort. However, ASSp's food court was just renovated and is pretty nice. The soft goods in ASSp's rooms were replaced last June. I believe that ASMu is next in line for a food court renovation, which could make it less desirable during the rehab but more desirable afterwards. That rumor has not been confirmed.

POP also tends to be slightly more expensive than the AllStars because it is in a different county where the hotel tax is 0.5% higher.

Time of year can also be a major influence on which resort to pick. The first week of December is Pop Warner Football week at Disney. All of the Value Resorts tend to fill up with people attending the tournament but ASSp tends to draw more than its fair share.

stayed at all of them our favorite is AS Music

POP for us felt too big - the All Stars feel better - I think it is the layout of the buildings - also I know POP is bigger.

AS movies was great but they generally don't have a very good room only discount (generally like 5% as opposed to 20% or more at the other All Stars)

Sports - we had a very good week there until the cheerleaders and band members arrived - thankfully that was our last night. We've all vowed never again.

Music is our home resort - its comfortable (our favorite area is Broadway). The food court folks always seem very friendly. We enjoy the pool games and they almost always have our room ready no matter when we arrive. It never feels crowded.

We've stayed at Pop and AS Movies and liked them both. Pop was more convenient to the parks and didn't share a bus. Only real difference we saw. I remember liking the food court at Movies more, but our stays were several years apart so that doesn't really help much, I wasn't comparing the food at the same time.

Id rather have the family suite and spread out at ASMu if those are my choices I know people say buses or food court at POP are better. We were at POP in January though and just wasn't impressed.

I've stayed at all of them and I prefer Pop. I like the layout of the food court area better, and I really like that they don't share a bus. When we stayed at the All Stars it seemed like we were almost always standing on the bus ride, or we waited and waited as already-full buses passed us by.

We like POP a little better. It is nice to not have to share buses. Plus, we enjoy watching the fireworks from Epcot from the resort. And you have the choice of Pop's food court or walk across the bridge to AOA's food court, so it was a nice variety. In fact, a couple of times on our last trip when we were catching a bus back to the resort, the AOA bus pulled up first and we just hopped on that one and rode home. We request a 60's section lake view room so it's not a long walk from either resorts' bus stop.

ASM - room was fine, price was fine, location fine, food court awful, too crowded, people were not nice, grounds were messy. ymmv

I prefer AS Music but my kids prefer Pop.
I like how ASMu is arranged and I can get a quiet room but not be too far from the main building.
They like Pop for the main pool and themeing.

I prefer Music or Sports.
I like the grounds better and the quietness about it (much more open than PopC feels to me) and I like the food court and gift shop set up better. Plus, I actually think the bus system is better at the All Stars (more buses).

We definitely like POP the best. We have stayed at Sports only at the All Star Resorts and POP.

I find the bus system much better with POP, and if you are using the buses will find the drop off/pick up better.

My kids absolutely love POP. Given the choice of any resort on property, they will always pick that resort.

Pop always over the All Stars. I like the layout and it doesn't seem as big to me compared to the all star resorts. I feel like we walk a bunch to get to the buses when we have a standard room at an all star compared to a standard room at Pop.

We like Movies best. We were not a, fan of Pop. To us, Movies really says Disney while Pop really doesn't. We also like that it's smaller and seems less chaotic. The only thing we generally prefer at Pop is transportation, as we've never had Pop share a bus, while at time (although never at closing) Movies shares with the other 2 Allstars. ..really not a huge deal, but that's the only thing I could think of.

We also prefer the food court at Movies.
