Is it cheaper/more advantageous to:
get a package through Disney with a one-day ticket and then upgrade to an AP (it appears that a FL seasonal AP is cheaper than a 5 day park hopper), or
get a package through AAA,
or
just do it all separately with AAA?
I was planning on all separate but now I think the DDP may be a good idea since it includes tips and tax also. And if I do it separate, should I just deal with Disney myself on the room only reservation or have AAA do it? My AAA agent doesn't seem to know as much as y'all do here! My confidence in him is low. Or should I just find a travel agent? Oh my! Advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I always do a package because of the DDP - it is a real deal for us- case part of our vacation is that we love to eat at nice restaurants.

I also book with www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com the official travel agent of these boards. I like the concierge services they offer and the fact that they will watch for discounts even after I have booked.

I second Trekker's advice - Dreams Unlimited will help you price out your stay using any FL Resident specials vs other packages or room only deals, and will also watch after you book for any deals/discounts that might come up :)
