Reviewing both of these and looks like they share a pool and are same cost so has anyone stayed at both and what would be your preference? Talking standard room only with 2x Queen beds for 4 adults. Thank you

I love the Yacht Club rooms, the hard flooring is nice and the bathroom setup is great. The rooms feel bright and spacious and a bit more high end than the BC rooms. I also think that the YC has a slightly more adult feel, we always choose it over BC for an adult trip when we aren't using our DVC points. That said, both resorts are fantastic and you can't go wrong either way.

They are physically connected and they are very similar. The YC has the most recent soft good update in all the rooms. They removed all the carpeting in the rooms and replaced it with simulated hardwood floor.

They added a sliding door to separate the Bathroom area from the main room The BC still has carpeting in each guest room and no door to close off the Bathroom area.

Thank you those comments are really helpful. We are travelling with our 18yos and his girlfriend so privacy in terms of a bathroom is a critical aspect

Having stayed at both, we enjoyed and stayed at the YC more. Our reason was the YC has a full balcony on nearly every room, ( BC has full, and standing only balconies) The YC lobby is also much more quiet in our opinion. Both are great and you can't go wrong with either but, it's the YC for us!

BC has been our first choice, but after our last stay at YC it may have edged out BC. The newly renovated rooms are really nice. YC lobby tends to be quieter. We liked the QS at YC. That said, we'd stay at the resort with the better pricing with no regrets!

DH and I love them both but I have to give the edge to YC. A full balcony is important to us and there are rooms at BC with a walk-out only type balcony. Morning coffee and evening drinks on the balcony are part of the Disney magic for us.

They are both lovely, but I give the slight edge to YC for my own family as it tends to be a bit quieter than YC. You'll have a slightly further walk from the EP entrance, but a closer walk to the BC/YC boat dock. As PP mentioned, it was recently refurbed and I think the rooms are gorgeous. You will also get a full balcony whereas, at BC, you may not. For an adults-only trip, I would do YC.
