My family enjoyed Ohana. They loved the food and I LOVED dessert! Additionally, its nice not to have dinner interrupted by trips to the buffet line. I had a 3 year old at the time of our trip and felt like I was so busy getting the kids plates together, they were finished by the time I sat down to eat.
ohana has picky kid food too... my picky eater got mac and cheese (he wouldn't eat any of the other sides) to go with his mountain of steak. I have also seen reports of chicken fingers there too and I think a few other options. I owuldn't let a picky kid stop me.I would base it on whether you have a picky eater or not. Look at the Ohana menu and see if it has things your child would like. If not, then I'd say lean towards the buffet because generally you can always find something. But if not a picky eater and you like food - def Ohana. Although I will say 1900 PF is one of the better buffet dinners on property.

yes, I have read many reports where they brought some kid friendly food for kids who eat free there. They don't seem too fussed about that. I'm sure the servers realize it will help them get a better tip by taking good care of the littles. We are on the dining plan and since he's not yet three he's free, so would he be offered any kid friendly food? He does eat Mac and cheese.
