Which is better for a split stay: package or room only?

Currently, I have a split stay booked for 5 nights at Pop and 6 at Yacht Club. I have not bought tickets yet, booking room only. I thought room only would be best and then I could just buy the 9 day park hoppers we need separately. Now, I’m getting advice that I should turn the Pop portion into a package with the tickets. Only problem is I can’t add that many ticket days online. Can they do that over the phone? Can I have them turn that Pop portion into a package by adding the tickets and using my first night room deposit as my package deposit?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

if you call they should be able to convert your room booking to a package with tickets and yes with 9 day tickets. I am not sure why you would want to convert to a package though, you have to pay in full earlier. I find room only are easier to handle if you need to change things.

Only because I want to lock in a price on the tickets since now is when they usually hike up the price. So is either have to buy them outright now or if I fold it into a package, I can wait to pay for them, but still lock it in. Also, in the event I have to postpone, I get a full refund instead of just having to hang onto the tickets.

We did it over the phone. It does make management a little trickier because the tickets are linked to the first stay so the second stay is kind of floating on its own. Every time you call you have to remind them about the second confirmation number.

You can buy tickets anytime. It doesn’t have to be part of a package.
