Going in with the expectation that the food isn't that great, but looking for the lesser of two evils. Have you done both, which one did you prefer and why?

It depends. If you're paying OOP, then I'd go for breakfast because it's less expensive and you get the experience. But, if you're doing the DDP, I'd go for dinner so you get more bang for your buck.

If you really don't like CRT, maybe you could consider Akershus. It's less expensive, virtually the same experience, and the food is really good.

Actually, we like lunch the best! We're not big breakfast eaters and for a couple of dollars more, we get a nice meal and it's not as pricey as dinner.

I am having the same dilema, but because I am in the DDP, I will be doing dinner. Any suggestions for what to order at dinner time??

we did breakfast and were on Dxdp - I'd agree with pp that it was a waste of 2ts credits (would rather have done the dinner with the credits), but if paying oop go for the cheaper option because you're really paying for the location and not the food.

cool eating in the castle, but very crowded tables (uncomfortably so). for breakfast it's jsut scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes as I remember or you can pick a fruit plate - it's quite expensive for the quality of food - Akershaus is a much better eating experience with a much better price (or only 1 ts).
