which is a better holiday resort?

We are going to be in Disney the week after Thanksgiving, so I was wondering which resort has a better holiday feel. BWV, WL or OKW? They do put the Christmas decorations up then dont they?

I think that VWL cannot be beat for holiday decor. My second choice would be BWV. Everyone always talks about how beautiful the Lodge is at Christmas time.

And not only the lobby of the WL is decorated. The VWL has a great tree in it's own lobby.

Next would be BWV.

We stayed at BWV for Christmas 2004. It certainly was beautiful, but I have heard even better things about VWL.

WLV is my choice for Christmas, it's just magical there. I spent Christmas there a couple of years ago, and spent a frigid Christmas Day in front of the fireplace, with the tree behind us. It's a special memory. Oddly enough, I do not like WLV at any other time of year--too many trees, not enough people

If you are not an owner of BWV or VWL, the best resort for the week after Thanksgiving is the one you can get into! That's a popular week - those who want the best chance to book at the 7 month winodw will be calling day by day.

P.S. All of the Holiday decorations will be up by then and both BWV and VWL are especially lovely at that time of the year. I haven't been to OKW during that time.

My first choice would be BWV. I love walking around the Boardwalk, admiring the garland strung on poles, the poinsetta Christmas tree on Village Green, and I love the nearness to Epcot. I suppose it matters whether you'll spend more time in Epcot or MK during the Christmas season, but to me, Epcot is "where it's at". Between the WS Santa's, the CP, the tree lighting every evening, the holiday Illuminations, I could spend all my time in Epcot. Well, except for a quick run over to MGM to see the Osborne lights. My idea of Christmas at WDW focuses on those 2 parks, that's why I much prefer BWV.

WL has a great feel, but I am partial to the Boardwalk area and I like the beachy xmas decor.

Thanks everyone. Now I just hope I will be able to book at the 7 month window. I only own at SSR, so I am booked there for now. I wont be disappointed it I stay there though, at least I will be in Disney!
