Which one would you stay at/prefer?

1. Anabella Hotel
2. Best Western Park Place Inn
3. Candy Cane Inn

Looking for your opinion, not regarding price though. After pricing these out, the difference between each is about $50 for the entire trip!

Also, walking/distance is not an issue as this is for my parents and there will be no children, and they don't mind it.

Thanks for your help!

Candy Cane Inn. If I ever stayed off campus, this would be my first choice (or the Hojos.) I have stayed at CCI (before kids) and thought it was clean, safe, and convenient. My main concern is always cleanliness, and there were no problems. I normally don't like hotels w/ outside entrances, but this was the exception. CCI gets pretty high reviews from people on this board, and on TripAdvisor.

CCI. It has good reviews; the people who run it have had it for years; and it's supposed to be clean and nice. Also it has a dedicated shuttle, which beats taking ART.

Did you say on your pre-trippie that your parents prefer inside corridors? I don't know if CCI has those...?

HoJo isn't on your list, but it is a bit nicer than the crosswalk hotels, and it has inside corridors. Ent rate isn't available during your dates, but you could still get 15% DIS boards discount.

Thanks. I don't think that CCI has indoor coridors either based on the pictures that I saw on trip advisor. CCI definitly seems like the clear winner since it is #4 out of all the hotels in Anaheim.

Anabella is #38! Eeek...

Thanks for your opinion. Cleanliness is definitley a biggie to them, but they're not that picky. They travel a lot and have stayed in many different classes of hotels...from economy to the super luxery resorts. They believe that you get what you pay for and that being nice to the staff, no matter what kind of hotel or star rating, is always the best policy.

They aren't fans of the outside entry, but my mom (who is doing the planning with me) has come to see that she will have to have the outside entry for most of the hotels within walking distance at a good price. Good for you mom, becoming more like her "at least we're at Disney" daughter each day ;)

My DH and I just got back from a trip to DLR and loved the Candy Cane. The room was super clean and the beds were comfie. People at the front desk and driving the hotel's dedicated shuttle were SUPER friendly. I also don't know why people say the walk is long because it really isn't at all. We would not hesitate to stay at the CCI again.

Thanks for the great review. I think my mom is really leaning towards CCI. From what I remember from our trips back in the day, she was always talking about wanting to go stay there. These reviews have been really helpful and she has really enjoyed reading them! :thumbsup2
