Which Hotel Option Would You Choose?

Due to a combo of cheap fares and some Southwest points I need to use I've decided to tack a Universal/SeaWorld trip onto the end of a visit to Atlanta to see our daughter. It will, as an impulsive splurge, have to be a budget trip. I've done a LOT of research and pricing and have Narrowed it down two options that are roughly equal in price.

A
Six nights at the Extended Stay America Orlando Convention Center with one night at Royal Pacific Resort (APH rate $179). I'd keep the ESA room for the night I'd spend at RPR.

B
Six nights at Sheraton Vistana Villages (1BR standard unit) with no RPR stay.

-I won't have a car. I plan to use a combination of Uber (airport and Universal) and IRide Trolley SeaWorld and Aquatica) for transport. Transport costs have been considered in my pricing.

-I like a resort feel as well as most people but am definitely not a hotel snob. I have stayed in anything from the Grand Floridian Club Level to the Kissimmee Super 8 and enjoyed myself. My budged is fixed for this trip.

-My dates are 9/17-23, my RPR reservation is for 9/18. TP has the crowd level at 4 and I will be able to use Single Rider where available.

-I have an AP for both Universal and SeaWorld/Aquatica and this will be my third trip to both in 2018.

-I don't plan on spending much time at the hotel/condo. I visit Orlando for the parks.

-The SVV is much nicer in every way but I would have to give up my onsite Universal stay.

-ESA has a more convenient location for visiting SeaWorld and Aquatica.

-I absolutely want a place with kitchen facilities, this is not negotiable.

I travel to Orlando several times a year but this will be my first trip (since 1989!) in which I will not visit Disney. I am very disenchanted with the WDW price increases over the past few years and will be letting my Disney AP lapse next month.

So, which would you choose?

Thanks!

September 18 would be a great day for the parks if you stay at RPR that night.
And, that is a great rate for the hotel.

No hhn in your time period

It would lean to staying on site the one night and depart at the evening of the 19th for the other hotel you have booked.
You won't have to rush since you have the unlimited ep for the parks.

And it will be one day less of having to travel back and forth to the offsite hotel you will book.

In the evenings hit City Walk for a late dinner and see the sites there.
A few hours would cover that.
Cinema and mini golf can be a time filler if you want it to be.

Thanks!

I've since found a great deal ($73/night) at Staybridge Suites at SeaWorld on Hotwire so my dilemma is solved. :-)

I don't want to head straight to RPR because I won't arrive in Orlando in time to make the most of my two days of Express.

Thanks, again

I would have suggested Cabana Bay. A family suite has a kitchenette. :) Onsite always wins for me. No transportation costs on at least some days that way. But, sounds like you’re all set so enjoy!

Thanks, I'm spending two days at UO, two at SeaWorld and one at Aquatica so the SeaWorld location works better for me and I like their free breakfast. To be truthful, I only booked RPR for the Express. Even with the current AP discount, my night at RPR is only slightly more than two days of unlimited Express.
