Which Hotel! Never stayed at Universal

Hello,
I plan on going to Epic/Universal in Spring of 2026. I am traveling with two teens(12 and 14) and my husband. Should we get a family suite at Endless Summer or stay at Helios as both are the same price? Or should I just save money and stay at Stella Nova or Terra Luna? Any advice is helpful! Thanks!

Are you going multiple days to Epic? If yes, I would lean towards Helios. However, if you were planning to eat at the hotel a bunch and don't want to spend $$$, I wouldn't stay at Helios. Quick serve options are nonexistent there.

Personally I don't find Helios worth the money - although it seems odd to me that its the same price as ES.
Many who have stayed there felt the rooms were not much better than SN or TL.
You the view is cool - but you can always go up to rooftop the bar and check out the view and have a meal.

How many nights are you going for? Are you doing both US and Epic?

Have you considered an AP - I can often get a 2 bedroom suite at Dockside for $130-150 or so with the AP rate.
You can also get food discounts with the higher tier AP - which at Epic can really add up - especially with 4 people.
You only need one AP - but depending on your dates it might make sense.

At this point the AP does not include Epic - its assumed it will be added in the new year, if not sooner - but the price will go up as well.

Anyway - the saving on the room and food could make the AP a great value. The big unknown right now is Epic since if I want to go to epic I have to buy a day ticket - its discounted - but still not cheap.
