Which hotel is the best for a 14,11,and 4

this is not our first visit to the parks but our first time staying on site. we usually do is WDW and USF/IOA trip together but now we are older and the energy to so it all in 2 weeks is gone. We are going to do IOA and USF this summer and WDW next summer. We need a good hotel for the 5 of us the kidsa re 14,11 and 4 . We are looking into the HRH but are really torn on where to stay. I really want a nice pool as we are comming down in july and need to relax!!! Does HRH have a slide in their pool or is it just the sandy beach thing? any and all help is useful .

hrh rooms are larger than rph. pbh 's rooms are larger than hrh.....


it doesn't matter which hotel you stay in if you are thinking of best pool to help make your decision.

universal encourages pool hopping.

if you stay at one of the three hotels, you can use all of them, not just the pool at the hotel you are staying at.

Welcome aboard.

HRH is the hip hotel with music playing everywhere.
HRH has a slide, it's a nerf football pool with 5 footballs flying around.
The HRH is closest to the park, only a 5 minute walk to USF.

The RPR is more quiet with a tropical feel.
RPR does not have a slide in the pool, but they have two basketball hoops, and a volley ball net. Anyone can swim up and join it, a lot of fun.
RPR is a 7 minute walk to IOA, slightly farther than HRH.

It's really a toss up. If you decide to stay at the HRH, be sure to call before flying down to make sure your ressie is still on file. Sometimes they overbook the hotel and send the extras elsewhere. Best advice is to check in at 7am to start your vacation, even if that means staying in a cheap hotel the night before.

The 14 and 11 year old will want to go off on their own, and stay in touch with cell phones. That will leave you with the 4 year old.

Yeah that is what I figured we are driving down as 5 on a plane is not happening this year and we usually stop to visit friends in SC on the way down from NYC. I am figuring on the HRH and I am going to speak to hubby tonight and get the reservation started . I can't wait to go we have never stayed on site except on disney and cedar point so we are looking forward to this . thanks for the help
