We weren't planning on going back until 2006, but there is a chance we may make a 2004 trip. Our boys will be 5 & 9 at the time. My dh wants to stay at the Contemporary but I'd like to try BWI or BC or Poly. Which of these seem to have the best concierge offerings? Which would be best for the boys who love to hit the pools?? We've only been to CBR(loved it)and ASMo(hated it). TIA

I haven't actually stayed concierge yet, but we will be staying Poly Lagoon View Concierge in Jan. In my research it appears that Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Poly have the best concierges. By this I mean the most food offerings and nicer lounges. The Poly has a lounge with the view of the castle at MK and they dim the lights and pipe in the music for the fireworks.

As far as pools go, I think everyone will agree the Stormalong Bay at the BC/YC is the best, but the newly renovated Volcano pool at the Poly follows with a close second. This, plus the better concierge sounds like the place for your family.

Check out Deb Wills' site for more on concierege and everything else for WDW. http://www.wdwig.com/concierge.htm

Have a magical time wherever you choose. Plus for me choosing and planning is half the fun:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Tina,

BC would be my choice. Better food, less crowded, great staff.

Did not care for the food at Poly, there was a LOT but it was too much like cafeteria food. Also too crowded, lots and lots of kids.

However, the view is great. I think I would have liked Poly more if we didn't stay concierge. Don't care for the Hawaii building (other that the location:verygood)

If you do stay Poly check out the boats and the busses for transportation. The monorail can become very annoying if you ride everyday for five or six days.
