Definetly the garden suites at the Boardwalk Inn. Very romantic, king bed, large jacuzzi tub and huge shower! Location is awesome and concierge lounge can't be beat.
7 day honeymoon at which resort? In my opinion, the nicest resort on site is the Grand Floridian but personally, my spousal unit and I are big fans of the epcot area, and if I was going on a honeymoon (money not being a consideration) I would try to stay at one of the villas at the Boardwalk, Beach or Yacht Club. The one bedroom villas provide kitchen facilities and a whirlpool. Location is within walking distance of epcot with illuminations and spectacular restaurants. Villas can cut down on breakfast and lunch costs and allow you to spend bucks on romantic dinners at California Grill (Contemporary), GF (Albert & Victoria's), Canada (Epocot), Shula's Steakhouse (Dolphin), and the Yacht and Beach Club restaurants. Bottom line any resort onsite is great because you will bring the romance with you.......have a great time!
BWI is our favorite resort. If money were no object, I would book a garden suite there! The atmosphere of the boardwalk is great, but when you're in the garden suites, it's like you're in a totally different resort. Plus, the bathtub (small pool! he he!) alone is almost enough to make me stay there. I don't know where you could find pics though. If your interested, I could probably dig up a few from our stay there! Happy planning!
The bathtub does look fabulous, and the posts here make it sound like a great place to stay! The BW Villas also would nice for the kitchen, but no need to cook on your honeymoon. There are so many great restaurants in the Epcot area!
The more I read, the more it sounds like the GF has some real management problems.
Just gotta add that the bathtub in our suite was bigger than the one in the picture looks. It easily sat 2 people--I swear it could have fit 4 if everyone sat with their legs crossed! . It was probably just the angle of the pic though. I'm sure all the suites have the same size bathtub!
Although I've never been to the GF (I, hands down, will not stay anywhere else besides the WL or the Campground when we go down with our motorhome) I would say the most romantic would have to be the GF, just because of it's style and "elegance" as I've heard. Either way, I'm definately planning to honeymoon in Disney World!
Oh, and can anyone please tell me how you get the countdown things in your signature? I'm going back this coming March and want to put one in my signature really bad! Thank you!
