I've never stayed at or even seen any of the resorts, but am contemplating a solo trip for maybe late August for five nights/six days. I would not have a car. I bought a Preferred AP when I was down there in early May, so have that for possible room discounts. The prices don't seem to be that much difference. What is the walking time from each of the resorts and is a waterview room at RPR worth it? Do the rooms have balconies? Of the following which would be best for a solo traveler:

AP
RPR: $134.00/night=$753.75
HRH: $169.00/night=$950.65
PBH: $164.00/night=$820.00

Stay More Save More
RPR: (waterview): $149.00/night=$840.35
HRH: $149.00=$840.35
PBH: $164.00=$924.75

The only hotel with some balconies is the PBH.

It really is a personal preference.

I'd do RPR. It's closer to IOA for starters and cheaper.

I've stayed at RPR and just got back from a trip where we stayed at HRH.

The quick breakfast option at HRH was pretty slim. I liked the one at RPR better. I also liked Jakes American Bar and the Islands Dining Room at RPR much better than The Kitchen at HRH.

We liked the pool better at HRH but you can pool hop there if you stay at any of the on site resorts.

We pretty much have to stay at HRH now when we go because I felt like the rooms are too small at RPR for the 4 of us.
But for a solo traveler that won't matter at all. If I was going solo, RPR is where I'd stay.
