So many choices...We're not particular about whether it's a 1-bedroom suite with a kitchen or that it's a standard hotel room. There's just the 3 of us (mom, dad, DD13). We are spending the first 6 days at AKL with another family. This hotel is for our last 2 nights after the other family leaves and before we go back home. We'd be doing mostly non-Disney activities at that point. We're looking for a place under $170, but a couple on my list will exceed that budget by a wee bit (though still cheaper than a night at AKL).

I've narrowed down to these hotels.
- Sheraton Vistana Resort
- Bohemian Hotel Celebration
- Hyatt Grand Cypress
- Hilton Bonnet Creek
- Hilton Grand Vacations International Dr.

I'm leaning towards the Bohemian, because we've never visited the quaint town of Celebration before. Travelzoo is also offering a great rate of $149/night with free parking, breakfast for 2, free Wifi.

Please offer your experience and your recommendations. Thanks!!!!!

I don't know anything about the places on your list, but you might consider the Buena Vista Suites. They offer suites with either a king bed or two queens, and a separate sitting room with a pull out couch and wet bar with fridge and microwave. Rates can be as low as $99/night, depending on the time of year. Parking is free, as is a full American breakfast buffet. Not sure about wi-fi. I can recommend it because we've stayed there several times and never found anything objectionable about it in the least. It's also very close to WDW, although that may not matter so much for you if you're doing non-Disney things. It's also very close to lots of restaurants and shopping.

We have stayed at the Sheraton Vistana, the Hyatt Grand Cypress & the Hilton Bonnet Creek. I like Vistana. We stayed in a big 3-bedroom at Vistana but you can get a 1BR with no maid service for fairly cheap using the All Ears rate: http://allears.net/acc/faq_svistana.htm#no. It looks like you're a timeshare person, so that shouldn't bother you. We really liked Bonnet Creek. It was quite comfortable and my DD liked the pool. IIRC, they charged us a resort fee :( so be aware that it may cost you more than just the nightly charge. The Hyatt was a mixture of styles and quality. The common areas reminded me of a Hyatt Regency from the 1980's and the pool area needed updating. The room was recently updated and modern but very small. We stayed at the Hyatt for free but probably would not return.

Thanks so much!

I'll look into the Buena Vista Suites - saw it on Expedia, but had no direct experience with that hotel name. Thanks for the recommendation!

I'll also check out the rate on Allears for the Sheraton Vistana. I really like the idea of being in a suite with a kitchen and washer/dryer. I must admit, I like doing laundry during vacation so I don't have to be faced with it when I get home.

I can second robinb's recommendation for the Sheraton Vistana, as we have stayed there as well. A one bedroom there is much bigger than the suite at the Buena Vista Suites, and the allears rate isn't much more. You probably couldn't go wrong with either place, but if the full kitchen and the washer/dryer are important to you, the Sheraton Vistana would win out. It's actually just up the road from the Buena Vista Suites, in the same area with lots of restaurants and shopping.
