So many choices...We're not particular about whether it's a 1-bedroom suite with a kitchen or that it's a standard hotel room. There's just the 3 of us (mom, dad, DD13). We are spending the first 6 days at AKL with another family. This hotel is for our last 2 nights after the other family leaves and before we go back home. We'd be doing mostly non-Disney activities at that point. We're looking for a place under $170, but a couple on my list will exceed that budget by a wee bit (though still cheaper than a night at AKL).
I've narrowed down to these hotels.
- Sheraton Vistana Resort
- Bohemian Hotel Celebration
- Hyatt Grand Cypress
- Hilton Bonnet Creek
- Hilton Grand Vacations International Dr.
I'm leaning towards the Bohemian, because we've never visited the quaint town of Celebration before. Travelzoo is also offering a great rate of $149/night with free parking, breakfast for 2, free Wifi.

so be aware that it may cost you more than just the nightly charge. The Hyatt was a mixture of styles and quality. The common areas reminded me of a Hyatt Regency from the 1980's and the pool area needed updating. The room was recently updated and modern but very small. We stayed at the Hyatt for free but probably would not return.
