We have an 07 EX-L and love it! Bought it new and it now has 40K on it. Three trips to Disney and Myrtle Beach and it has worked out great for our family. Two boys 19 and 12 as well their friends. Love it so much we are going to look at 2010's today in fact. The deal we got back in 07 put us in a good position to trade up to new and DECREASE our payment! 2.9% Honda financing helps too.
My son also gave us his opinion of each vehicle. It was quite comical (and informative) to see a 2.5 year old have pretty good comments about each one!

Nothing hurt but his pride, but still...
Somehow he got it going enough for the valet to park it for the weekend while we sat watched 'Wicked' and toured the city. We didn't know what to do and worried the whole weekend. We finally decided to drive my MIL home and keeping driving the 8 more hours to our house. I forget what was wrong, but we got home and got it into the shop the next am. 2k. We were seriously bummed and at that time they told us about the timing belt (and apparently the water pump). We'd like to get another 100k but if we keep having to pour dough in, at one point it won't be the secure vehicle we need with 3 kids traveling in the artic and all over the eastern seaboard.
Tee hee, yep. Honestly, I commute an hour each way 3x a week and every snow, sleet or flurry, it's all those macho 4wders. We had a gmc blazer years ago and it was fine. We feel the Honda is just as good unless there is a foot of snow.
