We are going to WDW in June and will be renting through Hertz, using my new #1 Gold Club membership. Hertz rents Ford cars and I am trying to figure out which one will be big enough for our group. There will be a total of 7 of us, 3 adults and 4 kids (but 2 of the kids are "adult" size, so think of it more as 5 adults and 2 kids). I figure we will have about 5 large suitcases, 2 mediums and then 7 carry-ons. Anyway, I know I will need either a mini-van or SUV to fit all of us, but SUVs cost so much more than a mini-van. Hertz rents the Ford Freestar mini-van, will this be big enough for all of us and our suitcases? How big is the cargo space in the Freestar? Last week I reserved a mini-van through Hertz and got some Mazda mini-van (can't remember the model) and there is no way that would be big enough for the 7 of us. Anyone out there own a Freestar?

I had a Freestar in CLT several weeks ago from Hertz. Storage area wasn't that big especially for 7 people.

Safetymom how would it compare to a Ponitac Van? That is what National has. We well have 4 adults & 2 kids 5 & 9.

Not familiar with the Pontiacs. I think it depends on how much luggage you have.

BUMP :teeth:
Anyone else have any thoughts? Should I consider a Ford Expedition or Excursion instead? How are the cargo spaces in each of those?
