Which grocery delivery service?

I have used Garden Grocer twice now. The first time they were great. The second time they were very late in arriving with our order.

That said their customer service person on the phone was excellent when we called about our late order. She tracked downthe delivery guy, found out what the problem was and called us back a few times to keep us in the loop.

When we got our order one thing was missing (coffee creamer) I told them no big deal and asked them to just take it off the bill. They said oh no, totally our fault we will get that out to you first thing tomorrow. Sure enough, the delivery guy was back in the AM just in time for us to make our morning coffee!

Even with the bad luck I had on my second order I plan on trying them again on our next trip. Things happen and sometimes there are delays that are beyond a service's control. As long as it does not turn out to be a constant problem I plan on sticking with them.

We've used Gardengrocer.com several times now and will again on Sunday. They've always been very good. I wouldn't use anyone else..

For our Sept06 trip (two 2-bedrooms at VWL) we used wegoshop. I dealt with Marge and everything went smoothly. The groceries were delivered while we were at MK and VWL stored them for us until we returned from MK after the fireworks--around 11pm. Bell services then delivered them to our room.

We've used gardengrocer.com twice now and have been very happy. I've talked to Marge too at wegoshop.com and she seems very, very nice. We usually arrive on Sunday morning and like to get our groceries ASAP so we can put them away and start enjoying our vacation. Marge does not deliver until later on Sundays which I totally understand as I think she is the only one in her business and she needs time off too!

Count us in the gardengrocer gang. We used them last month and were very pleased with the service. They don't advertise it on their website, but they will also get beer/wine for you if you ask. The owner, Brian, is very responsive to inquiries and quite helpful. I know they are experiencing some growing pains - they're a young business and have been overwhelmed at the response they've gotten. He told me they can't seem to grow fast enough!

Highly recommend them.

We use wegoshop for each trip. I've heard good things about Garden Grocer also but haven't found a need to switch. She's always been good about shopping where we want and getting exactly what we ask for.

We are totally garden grocer people here also. We have had great service with them in the past.

Anything you do not see listed, just add it and they will bring it..no problem.
Their service (for us) was prompt and the delivery folks were extremely pleasant
