My father is all excited now that I told him this, but I wasn't sure what course it is?

Thanks!

"Lake Buena Vista" is the course.

The clubhouse is actually at Saratoga Springs resort, but the course itself winds alongside SSR, Port Orleans and through OKW.

Request building 63 or 64. The balcony will look over a beautiful island green par 3. I just love sitting out there, it is beautiful.

For anyone that's a golf player the LBV course is in immaculate condition at the moment (or it was last week when I played it) . I think usually it gets a little less traffic than the other courses and this has helped it to be in great condition at the moment.

We just got back from OKW also and the men golfed at Palm, Eagle Pines and LBV and they would agree that LBV was the course in the best condition. They were very disappointed with the greens at Eagles Pines.

We were on Miller's Road building 15. Enjoyed watching golfers trying to get to the 7th hole. Every night my sons were out retreiving balls from the water.

If you are interested in the golf course, the following may help decide where to play.

I just returned from a golf only trip with some friends. We arrived on Sunday, May 15 and left Wednesday.

Sunday - Magnolia (no closed for new greens)
Monday am- Osprey Ridge (condition ok, greens aerified and in bad shape)
Monday pm- Eagle Pines (condition good, greens were pretty good, but not great)
Tuesday - LBV (Course and greens excellent, although there was alot on unsightly demolition going on - they are tearing down the old villas)
Wednesday - Palm (good condition but a bit soggy, greens excellent)

The DVC membership saves $10 per round after 10am.

Actually the savings varies a bit by course.

The after 10am rate at LBV is currently $45. With the $50 golf membership, that does drop to $35. But the nice thing is that the $35 rate applies to all courses.

The 10am rate for Osprey Ridge is currently $60, meaning that the membership actually saves $25 per round.

The savings are typically even greater once you get into the cooler Fall / Winter months when the golf prices go up.
