I think it is a hoot, that even in this thread, people are feeling the need to justify their opinion, in a sense, doing what they are mocking others for doing.

I agree totally. I also want to know why they get at the head of the line for the busses. There could be a line of 50 people and then a wheel chair pulls up and gets on 1st. That is totally not fair either. I mean they are sitting down for cripes sake. They can wait. :rotfl2:

Simple logistics. Would you rather have them rolling over the feet of people already on the bus, and displacing people already seated in the spaces where the bench seats need to be lifted to tie down the ECVs?

Okay, granted one of these only comes up once or twice a year, but I'm surprised nobody's mentioned my "others":

Overloading the resort rooms

and

The horrors of not being allowed to grab a table at a counter service location until you have your food (can you tell where I stand on this one? ;))

Not to mention Florida state law dictates this procedure. Disney doesn't have a choice, even if they wanted one.

I love this tread...it gives me a much needed belly laugh! :lmao:

I'm an easy going person. Yes, some things that occur at WDW strike my nerves, but at the end of the day does it ruin my vacation? NO!! I just expect, plan around it and enjoy my visit to WDW!!!

I just do not understand the refillable mug thing. Why is that such a hot topic? Is it the fact that people actually buy the mug or is it the fact they are still using the same one for the 5th year in a row? We have never purchased refillables, so I have not experienced those threads.

So when we visit in June, I will make sure that we:
1. Take up two seats per person on the bus instead of one and ignore the mothers with infants
2. Mow over your young ones at rope drop to make sure we make it to TSM within 30 seconds
3. Rent an ECV so that we do not have to stand in line for rides or the bus
4. Swim in every pool except our Kidani's pool (our resort)
5. Stuff my 3 year olds shoes so that he can ride SM
6. I have already made my ADR's in case we "feel" like eating TS and no I will not cancel them if we decide not to
7. Stand in line for everyone in my party of 8 and call them to jump in line at the last minute

Have I covered all bases? :lmao: I would have added starting a refillable mug swap thread, but I thought that would be taking it too far!

Funny. I don't know what it is with the mugs! I was surprised not to see it on the list. Funny thing is that some on the boards don't know that when WDW started the refillable mug, it was in your room with a note on the price 7.99 and that they were good for the current stay as well as any future stays in that particular resort. I know we did this back in the late 90s and early 2000s! We had CBR cups and did use them on a future trip. We were there last week and people were using WL cups from the past as well. We have 2 as well. They were much larger and kept drinks warm/cold better! Anyway that's what I think as well-refillable mugs and I love the swap idea (yuk)

It seems like this brings out the uglies VERY quickly and do not stop until someone shuts the thread down.

I just had to add that! I thought that was so hilarious! Hopefully you do know that I was just joking! I was making fun of all the swap threads there are out there. Please note that I do not have an opinion either way on the swap threads....to each their own.

you also forgot....
going to Disney and having some debt.
Totally just got flamed for that one.

One more that pops up occasionally.
Using the food court as a shopping location for the condiments to use on the food you bought elsewhere.
Or as a salad bar!

No. I don't see any plans to stuff hundreds of Guests into one room ;)

Sorry. I will call DVC member services today and canel my 2 bedroom at Kidani for a standard view at POP. We are only a party of 8 - 5 adults, 3 children. How many people can you fit in 2 doubles?

i once asked a question about the deluxe dining plan and stated in my post that I had already done it the year before and loved it. i still got a ton of, "it's too much wasted food" replies

No problem.

Have housekeeping remove your table and chairs.

Bring a twin aerobed and a full aerobed.

Put two adults in each of the room's beds.

Put the full aerobed where the table was and have the three kids sleep crosswise.

Put the twin aerobed in the closet area, or between the window and the bed, for the fifth adult.

Create a bathroom schedule spreadsheet AT HOME, and bring it with you and tape it to the mirror.

Around the summer months there seems to be a few threads about saving lounge chairs at the pools and water parks (and keeping your personal belongings on them.) The threads always went down hill quick.

Can we just go there for a minuet? This is OT but similar to point of this comment.

People who use their body to hold a parking space. OMG, it burns me! Hasn't happened in Disney, but over Christmas time this lady, stood in a parking spot for what seemed like 20 mins waiting for her family/friend/whatever to come FORM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MALL and park. She flatly refused to move, my DH tried pulling in and she turned around, I wanted to go off. We found another spot and just watched as people kept trying to park and she would shake her head and turn around. Mind you, this was the last few days before Christmas, the mall was packed and there were zero parking spots. Anywho... sorry about the rant! But this is what popped into my head when I read this comment :confused3

:rotfl::rotfl: The same thing happened to me, too. Of course, I just pulled into the spot anyways...as far as I could. At that point it was like a game of chicken...who was going to give in first.

Don't forget you can hang hammocks from the sprinkler heads to fit even more people.
