forgot my vote was other...not sure of the name but people who don't think you should take the cute towels/washcloths that housekeeping makes. Not that I have even got one yet.

Don't forget the people who complain because they didn't get any towel animals.

I vote other... And would say anytime that someone asks for specific advice on how to deal with something money-related... (ie: best place to get new tires, trying to find them cheap so we can still go to Disney)... and it turns into "You shouldn't be going to Disney anyways! You need new tires!! Priorities!! How could you endanger your dc,dh/dw, dogs, etc.'s lives like that?!?"

The OP asked for good places to buy tires. Not Dave Ramsey. There's a reason it's called "personal" finance...Everyone has their own priorities.

Someone just had a question about going to the dentist and I felt so bad for the OP...who handled the criticisms better then I would have!

Now...if you phrase the question "Should I endanger my children's lives with bald tires and no brakes and risk the drive to Disney, or get the work on the car done and stay home?".... Then you are on your own!!

I agree totally. I also want to know why they get at the head of the line for the busses. There could be a line of 50 people and then a wheel chair pulls up and gets on 1st. That is totally not fair either. I mean they are sitting down for cripes sake. They can wait.

Even in this thread things are starting to get a little (notice I said a little) bit tweaked. I really think some people need to take the sticks out of their behinds and calm down. And yes, I have one there too! Geez, our passion for all things Disney certainly inspires us to be passionate about other things in life.

I'm new here, but one thing I can say, I haven't seen a board/forum on any topic, anywhere, that didn't have its strong opinions, ups and downs, and flames. It could be a sewing board discussion about the best color for handles of left-handed pinking shears, and you'd get drama, LOL.

Hey what about that thread last year about the aggressiveness of the Birds at WDW. That was a good one. People were up in arms about the birds attacking them or swiping their food at WDW which of course brought the bird lovers out. Then you had those who held no strong opinion either way, but chimed in anyway because this is the DISboards and thats what we do.
It led to some funny and heated discourse.

If I have to hear another person complain about not being able to exchange desserts for appetizers on the dining plan again I may implode.

I had to stop reading Dining Plan threads all together. They drove me insane. If it doesn't work for you and your family then don't buy it! I buy it because I like knowing everything is paid ahead. If you don't like something don't eat it, but don't expect to be compensated for it.

I did not flame anyone. I just pointed out some topics that tend to get heated around here.

I can't help if you are offended by some of the things posted here. If you want to see flames, start a thread asking if it's ok to go to WDW while collecting welfare or foodstamps.

I am new to these boards and it seems that every other thread I open there are VERY strong feelings!

For an interesting experiment, try posting and reading on the Disneyland boards for a week. Stay off the WDW boards for that week, do not even look at them. You will be absolutely shocked, SHOCKED, at the difference in how people talk to and basically treat each other on the DLR boards compared to the WDW boards.

I'm serious, try it, and I promise you'll be amazed...

I think it is a hoot, that even in this thread, people are feeling the need to justify their opinion, in a sense, doing what they are mocking others for doing.
