There are soooo many different parking companies and parking options available for Gatwick now. Which ones do you recommend we book/stay away from and why please? Thanks :)

We used air parks & were very happy. Our car travelled less than a mile whilst we were away. Buses every 20 minutes. Pleasant staff & great experience. We did travel in November so I guess a quieter time of year. In the past have also used Summer Special & APH off site without any issue. The one time we booked on airport (long stay I think) we were delayed by an hour so they insisted on charging us for an extra 24 hours :sad2:

We always use meet and greet these days, it's so convenient and if you get a good deal it's as cheap as regular parking, last few years we pretty much book with parkandgo as they usually come in cheaper especially with a discount code.

We like to use the Summer Special but for our last trip we used Meet & Greet with Air Parks and it was fab - so convenient :thumbsup2

We used Premium Parking (Car park 6 level 4) at Gatwick North for a one week trip to Austria this month and will now book it for Orlando next summer. It's long stay parking in the short stay car park. You park on the same level as departures and just walk across the walkway on the same level and into the concourse to book in. Pre booked and prepaid and everything done on car registration so very very easy. Keys stay with you too.

Having had a bad experience with meet and greet last January (car returned with a broken window) we wanted to park the car where we knew it would not be moved or used by anyone else.

Definitely recommend w w w . gatwickparking . com / booking / carparkinformation . aspx?Id=84

We've used APH for years now with no problems. Since child we have opted to stay in hotel night before flying and have found hotel + parking works out cheaper than just parking. In march we had booked a package with APH to stay at Ramada, park at hotel night before, drive in morning to APH then transfer across to airport. Lucky us for the second time we got stuck in all that snow storm and car was stuck at hotel. We spoke with the manager via email at home and he generously let us leave the car at the hotel for the duration no charge.

We were so impressed we've booked with them again this year think its £110 for family 3 staying overnight with 17 days parking onsite and they taxi you to airport for something like £10 can't remember. Love having car to dump all that overnight stuff in.
