Which gate do you prefer coming from MCO and why?

Got my next trip up in September, first trip with my girlfriend and my second trip with a rental car. Trying to plan our route to the World. I want to start the trip off just right, which means:

1. Music, the right song while crossing the threshold, I'm thinking this.
2. Crossing the threshold! I love that moment of going under the gate and being in vacation mode. Last trip with the car I didn't get that for reasons I won't get in to so it has to happen now!

So, those driving from MCO, which gate/route donyoi prefer and why? If it matters our first stop is POR to check in.

Unless the current road construction is completed by Sept, you won't be able to drive underneath the SR536 World Dr. via 417 gate. The entrance has temporarily been diverted to the exit side which has no gate. You may want to consider the Disney Springs entrance off I-4.

Here is another Route

Take the 417 after last Toll at Celebration join I-4 ( Heading for Tampa )

Watch Out for, on your Right hand side " Mickey's Ears " on electric pole as you join I-4

Take Exit for Toll Road 429 to Apopka

Shortly Take EXIT for Hartzog Rd .

You go under Disney Bridge on this road Western Way.

If not the Disney Springs exit from I-4, my second, and next closest option, is to stay on 417 and get off at Osceola Pkwy. They'll be a sign about 1-1/2 miles from there. Take a right on to Victory Way to get to Buena Vista Dr.

Just noticed the second part of your question.
Having to get all over WDW multiple days a week for over two decades from the 417/Osceola Pkwy region, I've driven under or through those three signs thousands of times and I still get a kick out of it.
