Which FP+ would you choose?

I get there next week. I have a FP+ booked for space mountain but I'm having second thoughts.

My kid got a no for space mountain back in Sept. He was basically touching the bar. I measured him with shoes off and he's at 44". They still might say no so do I risk it and try or change the FP+ to try out the new afternoon parade and wait in SM line if they say yes...

What would you do?

Assuming he could ride it, which would be your highest priority, the parade or SM? That is the one that I would choose, since chances are he will now be tall enough if he only missed it by a little bit over 6 months ago.

Yeah but what if I do pick SM and he can't will they let me change the FP after the time has started for that FP or am I screwed out of one?

That's my main concern.

I may be completely wrong but why don't you get him measured at the beginning of the day just to check if they say no then change you fp+?

That would be a good idea but from what I heard CMs have different opinions and some say yes and others say no. I'm afraid of one saying no than losing the fastpass. I don't know if it's worth the risk.

It sounds like it's going to be a concern for you because of the uncertainty. On that basis, I would go ahead and switch it for something else and perhaps keep an eye on the standby waits or head over there first thing in the morning and measure him for standby. At least if you are turned away then, you still have your FP's and if not - well you get to ride Space as well. :)

I'd switch it out so you aren't stressing. Then go first thing as above poster said to ride. If he makes it, you are good. If not, go over to Test Track or some other ride nearby and do that instead. This way if he is tall enough, you will still get to do it, but you aren't risking a FP+.

Thanks everyone. I'm gonna switch and stop stressing. It does seem like the best option. A little standby time never hurt us before and this way no waiting long for a good spot during the parade.
