Hi, all!
We finally have confirmation that our "family" from Norway (the real one on the other side of the Atlantic) will be coming to visit us here in NJ in late June and all of us will be arriving at the Swan about noon on July 4th. Would like opinions on which fireworks to view. From what I read on these boards the MK is very crowded, but the fireworks are great. Are there separate displays at EPCOT in addition to Illuminations? Thanks for your help. Bob

We prefer Epcot's Illuminations to any of the fireworks displays. For us, MGM's fantasmic is a close second.

Illuminations all the way.
Have a magical time with your family during the summer.:D

Illuminations is the best fireworks.

Fantasmic is more of a show than just fireworks.

If you can try and book a Specailty Cruise for the Illuminations viewing. If you can get all of your group on one cruise and don't mind paying $120 for the private boat, it's the best way to view the fireworks show without having to fight the crowds.

If you want to see the fireworks at MK without the crowds you can see them from the Polynesian resort dock. Or get dinner reservations at O'Hana that matches up with the fireworks schedule.

Hi, again,
And thanks for your responses - they are appreciated. But let me clarify my question, as I realize I wasn't all that specific. I only wanted to know about the fireworks the night of July 4th. Fantasmic and Illuminations are on our "must do" list during our stay. Doesn't MGM have a display that night also, or am I barking up a wrong tree? Bob
