Hi All -

Our girls' trip is a month away (yay!) and I'm wondering about the best option for the new Fantasmic system. Dinner? Dessert? Do any of the viewing areas include actual chairs or is it all on the ground?

A couple of us did the old dessert party two years ago and really liked it but it was pretty pricey... with the need for a FP now, though, it seems like we need to make a decision!

Thanks in advance :earboy2:

Blue Bayou is about the same price as the previous dessert package option. And yes, everything is sitting on the ground. No chairs anymore.

But even though it took me a good few minutes to get standing again, and although I was a bit uncomfortable, I had a great view of the show.

Blue Bayou will get you the best view. You spend less than the previous dessert option, but you get a full meal out of it instead of just a dessert box. Plus eating at BB is just fun!

With the Blue bayou option, each person gets a cushion to sit on during the show. Also, the view is awesome! The option is still pricey ( 61$ per adult, 23$ per kid), but you get great viewing, and even without the dining package, the restaurant still is very expensive. If you can afford it, this would be your best option.

But if you want a dessert package, similar to the previous one offered, then get the Hungry bear restaurant dessert package. You get an array of fancy desserts, plus a drink, for 21.99$ (for adults and kids). You also get a good view of the show!

There is also a few other options available, but either way, you can't go wrong!

Depending on when you're actually going to be there, the Dessert Party might not be an option. Apparently, Hungry Bear is going to be closed from mid to late January. We wanted to try the Dessert Party ourselves, but it wasn't showing up as available online. I finally called them today and got the bad news. I want to say that it was closed through the 30th, but you'll have to call to confirm.

Thanks everyone - I booked the Blue Bayou and I'll get back to you:)
