So right now disneyland has 30% off PP and 25% off DLH and GC. Is this better than a package through Costco or AAA? We would be staying 4 or 5 days/nights. I am trying to plan ahead if they offer something similar next fall.

The last time we went we got a package that was something like 3rd night free. That was all that they had available at the time.

It's very hard to tell what they will have next fall. A lot of things could change by then. Usual DLR deals are to get you to extend a visit.

While Disney may have deals, the packages through Cosco and AAA will reflect the same savings. You have to compare each to see if one or the other offers an edge.

Thanks for replying to both my threads.

I guess I have been so OCD in planning past WDW trips that I always rely on DL being easier - which it is. But now they are bringing all the "extras" to DL from WDW like the holiday parties closing the park early, a recent (limited) free dining trial, people seem to be detail planning DL now like they do WDW and it's frustrating since DL used to be so easy for us to do for decades.

The past few years have been exhausting and I just wish it was a simple "take this offer, it's the best" answer instead of having to compare several options. The fact that DL is usually easier to plan than WDW (plus the cost) are the major reasons we are choosing DL this time. Just want less stress in planning it out.

I will have to wait until closer to next fall. Not sure when to look for flights. I'm out of practice.

For WDW you have to plan almost a year ahead.

For airlines I checked, if oil prices(gas pump prices seem low) or early, mid summer.

For when in the fall, it depends if you want Halloween or Holiday decorations, and your schedule.

Then start looking for hotels and ticket or packages.

Made a note for myself, thanks!
