Hi fellow DIS'ers. We are a family of 4 (myself, DH, DD15 and DD13 who is a picky eater) heading down November 13-22. We have already eaten at Coral Reef, Teppan Edo, Akershus breakfast, Chefs de France, Garden Grill and, Le Cellier. Would love to try an EPCOT restaurant that we have not tried before but don't want to waste the credits on a bad choice. Please help us. What restaurants do you recommend, and why?

I truly loved Yachtsman - while not EPCOT, its right outside Epcot and you can walk there and back with no problem.

We dined at the Biergarten In Germany last year and had a blast. The atmosphere is awesome, and the Oompa Band is super fun! Its an all you can eat buffet, so great for picky eaters... Just don't go too late because you might miss the band!

Within the last couple trips, my family (my parents, older brother, and myself) discovered San Angel Inn. We always knew it existed, but once we tried it, it became a must on our list for every trip! As for picky eaters, I'm the same way, so I know the pain of going to a restaurant and finding nothing I liked besides a side of mashed potatoes as well as finding no appetizers I liked and being stuck with a cheese plate :sad1:(true stories). We prefer to go for lunch because we like the dishes they serve during at that time better (I like the Sopa Azteca without avocado and the Enchiladas Verdes de Pollo, neither of these are too hot/spicy or too weird of a texture for me), but we've tried dinner as well. As for picky eating, if you can't find anything on the menu, they are more than accommodating to make anyone a quesadilla upon request--even if all you want in it is cheese.
Another option that comes to mind is Via Napoli in Italy because... pizza. The pizza there is SO good. There are other Italian dishes there as well, in case anyone wants to have something other than pizza.
Hope this helped!:)

While we haven't been there yet, we've decided to go with Via Napoli for my picky 12 year old. She may just get spaghetti, but the rest of us will enjoy the pizza. :)

Rose and Crown is my sentimental choice. I love their outdoor patio seating and the atmosphere. The food is pretty good too---not knock your socks off amazing--but good.

Another vote for Via Napoli. VN, rose and crown, and the restaurants you've already been to seem to cover the world showcase dining staples.

Is the pizza at Via Napoli "normal" enough that my picky eater will like it? Is it similar to a Bertucci's restaurant pizza?(We live in Massachusetts, not sure if there are Bertucci's restaurants in all parts of the U.S.)

"Via Napoli" !!!

With picky teen eaters, I would go with a buffet either Biergarten or take the boat from Epcot's International Gateway to Cape May seafood buffet at the Beach Club. Biergarten has a show (if you can time your ressie to be there when they are on stage) but the boat ride to and from Cape May is beautiful, especially the return ride in the evening when the Boardwalk is lit up. You can also walk from the International Gateway along the path to the Beach Club in under 10 mins. Both good choices for picky eaters.

The place that stood out for me when I was last at Walt Disney World at the age of 10 was the Biergarten. The food was great and the show was a lot of fun.

I'd go with either Via Napoli or Biergarten as well. Via Napoli has such great pizza! We just tried Biergarten for the first time a couple of weeks ago and we loved it! The atmosphere is so much fun, and the buffet offers a lot of great options.

Another Via Napoli vote! We got the pepperoni pizza last year and it was delicious!

Definitely via Napoli. Best pizza ever
