Which Epcot TS out of this list

There will be 6 of us going in December and I made a form letting each person vote for each TS meal. Interestingly, everyone voted for the same restaurant each day with the exception of one Epcot meal. The choices are Biergarten, Marakeesh or Garden Grill. My DS voted for Teppanyaki for 2 nights -- he loses (the adults all want to try something different). What would you choose out of these three?

Out of your three, I think Marrakesh has the more interesting selection, but I've not been disappointed in any of your three. Marakesh and Biergarten both have entertainment, and Garden Grill has characters.

But, if you force me into an answer, I gotta go with Marrakesh. Even if the food sounds "weird" to some members of your party, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Definitely Biergarten. Never been to Garden Grill, but DH and I were disappointed w/Marrakesh last year.

We love Marrakesh, haven't eaten at Biergarten, and haven't been to the Garden Grill since the menu change (didn't think it was great before the menu change).

Marrakesh hands down. Great food and great atmosphere.

Biergarten rules! Fun entertainment, great atmosphere, outstanding food with a good selection. It is our favorite TS in Epcot.

Could you explain? We ate at Marrakesh last time we all loved it except for DH who -- will not eat chicken on the bone (my DBIL ordered for all of us).


Those who vote for Biergarten, why?

I loved Marrakesh myself so -no explanation needed there -- unless those naysayers who just really had a bad experience. BTW, we last went in June 04 so has food or service changed?

Biergarten. I've never been to Marrakesh, but the Tangierine Cafe is not very good.

I have to agree. We have been to all these restaurants at least twice and the only horrible dining experiences we have ever had at WDW have been at Marrakesh and Biergarten. And to make matters worst Marrakesh used to be one of our top 5 favorite places.
I assume you have already considered or possibly have already scheduled Le Cellier or Chefs but have you given any thought to the restaurants in the BW/BC area such as Palio, Cape May, Spoodles to name just a few. Its a real short walk or boat ride from WS.

We have been to all of these and have to say our favorite is Beirgarten, with Garden Grill in a very, very close second.

Really, My DH and I like German food, and they have a buffet, with my kids is a must because they eat better off of buffets. We are fans of Spaetzle, Saurbraten, the different sausages. The Desserts are great too.
The entertainment is not what I would call the most fun ever, but nice to listen to. MArrakesh is more fun with the belly dancers. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about.

I think in order to get into Beirgarden you should be familiar with German food and if you like it, you will like this. I think people who find they don't like German food feel like they wasted a TS on it.

There is an emphasis on Vinegar in German cooking, and Sauerkraut. For some it is not as good, but we love it!

The only drawback for us is that you get seated with another family at a long table, and it is kind of awkward to begin with. Usually if they are nice people it is fine, and you just chit chat about where you are from and staying. I do enjoy when you get an easy to talk to person so the pressure is off of making conversation.
I have gone there and gotten seated with people who do not like kids much and are just annoyed my my DS 4 (who KNOWS he is cute when he says "Ribbit" and does not understand not everyone feels that way). That is luck of the draw though.
