Which Epcot ride do most people do first?

DH and I head over to Soarin', grab a fast pass, then get in the stand-by line. Then we head to character connection or grab breakfast, by that time the fast passes are in their time frame. Then we head over to Test Track.

Wow, thanks for all the responses! We are from California so have experienced 'Soarin Over California' at California Adventure a bunch of times. I am surprised that it is a big deal in Florida too! Isn't it the same film (of California) and experience?

This is the same ride. It is a different que area, but it is the same. It has been very popular and will have the longest wait times later in the day of any attraction at EPCOT, and maybe all of Disney World.

I would suggest you skip it and go for Test Track & Mission Space. Then loop back to The Seas With Nemo and ride Nemo, and do not miss Turtle Talk with Crush. This is so funny. Journey to Imagination is worth a stop also. If you have kids, then they will find things to enjoy in Innoventions. If you start at rope drop, you should easily finish TT & MS before 10:00, and possibly The Seas also. Journey to Imagination will not have a wait, and you may want to wait until later to do the 3D movie. Good time for an afternoon break.

Well, I don't know what the general consensus is, but for us it's usually Spaceship Earth. Even if there's a long line, the wait is not usually that long, it's right when you walk in, and it's a great way to get out of the heat.

Soarin seems to get the most traffic at rope drop.

We always ride Test Track first because it's out so much of the time.
Next, while they ride MS, I go to get FPS for Soarin'.

Soarin is definitely the most popular. When we've been there, there were several times in the afternoon when Test Track and M:S were walk-ons or had very short waits. Soarin always had a long wait, no matter what time of day it was.

We always head over to Soarin' and get fast passes for later and get in line if the wait's not too bad.

We like Soarin a lot, so we usually like to ride it twice on a visit. If that is something you're interested in doing, my advice would be to arrive by park opening and immediately grab a set of Soarin fastpasses. Then ride it in the standby line. Go ride Test Track next and come back for your second Soarin ride. Lot of extra walking in that plan though!

If only planning to ride it once, I don't think the question of which to ride first is critical. If it was me, I'd probably ride Test Track first, hop over and grab fastpasses for Soarin, then head to the Seas for Turtle Talk. Just minimizing backtracking by picking Test Track first.
