Which England???

Okay, so after a superlativer summer of Cricket and 1 nail biting weekend to go, which would you choose, England to win the Ashes, or England to qualify for the Football World Cup??

For me, England winning the Ashes would have to be the choice.

In recent years our national Rugby and Cricket teams have shown how spoilt, unprofessional and unsportsmanlike too many Footballers are.

Go on boys, hammer the Aussies one more time

I dont really care about cricket but I would still have to say for them to win the Ashes. Even if we qualify for the world cup we will still lose on penalties anyway!

Even though I'm a footie fan I'd be more than happy to have England win the Ashes as only a few years ago we were a complete washout in just about all sports (which is odd when you consider we invented most of them) but with the rugby and sailing coming out on tops as well as the improvements in other areas (big hope for tennis is andy murray) it would be nice for us to get to the top in cricket again, I don't think we'll ever get there in footie really when south america and most of europe have such strong contenders

The Ashes. England are nowhere near good enough to win the World Cup but if they qualify then we'll have the usual hype and rubbish about how we're going to win it only to fail once again.

At the moment it is cricket but when the World Cup come around I am sure I will be bothered if England are not in it,

Would love to go to UK in Epcot next Oct and see world cup stuff in the shop!
