Which Eastern Carib. excursions for young kids?

Are you able to just walk to the tram up the side of the hill at St. Thomas, or do you need transportation (I know DCL offers this as an excursion, just wondering if we can walk to it on our own).

Yes, you can walk to the tram ride in St. Thomas. 10 minutes. Not a difficult walk. They take credit cards and price is same as DCL. Just go through the shopping center at the port to the main road and take a left. you can't miss it.
