Which DVC would you choose?

We are currently booked at CR in the garden wing/ garden view. But now my mom and dad have said they want to come too. We are going in May. It'll be me, DH, mom , dad , DS4, and DD1.

Both options are 148 pts:

BLT - 1 Bedroom villa Lake view

Or

OKW - 2 bedroom villa close to HH

The only reason I'm even considering the 1 bedroom is cause of the close proximity to MK and monorail to Epcot.

Which would you choose? Comfort or convenience?

Tough call.

I guess it would depend on how long you are going for and how close you are to your parents. I'm going to guess your DH and you would be in the bedroom with the the kids and the grandparents would be in the living room at BLT? I think I would ask my parent if they were ok with sleeping in the pull out. Also their sleeping area would be unavailable for them during the day if your family wants to use the living room.

As much as I think the 2 bedroom at OKW would be a much better choice, I love MK resort and the convience for you and your little ones much be worth it.

Sorry, I'm no help. I would really discuss it with your parents. The BLT might work for some.

OKW! The space will be worth it and aving 2 bathrooms for hte families will be a timesaver in the morning

I wasn't a fan of OKW, but with staying with my inlaws in a 2 bedroom the air became very suffocating after about a day. I couldn't imagine a 1 bedroom with them. LOL. But BLT is my home resort and I love the location and super quick walk to magic kingdom. The one bedrooms at BLT do have 2 full bathrooms, we stay in a one bedroom all the time. When we stayed in a 1 bedroom at OKW I was frantically looking for the second bathroom that became very clear that it didn't exist. LOL. Not fun trying to bathe a 1 year old in that super deep jacuzzi tub.

I think for sanity sakes you should choose the 2 bedroom at OKW. Olivia's has AMAZING food.

How were the buses at OKW?

OKW, hands down.

The space that these villas have is amazing. We stayed there for the first time this past spring and loved it. The busses were very good, not as convenient as walking to the MK, but good none the less.

We did a split stay between OKW and BCV, and after staying at OKW, BCV seem very small.

I agree with the 2BR at OKW. I would be open to BLT, but it means one couple will have to sleep on a fold out couch. That sleeping arrangement definitely wouldn't be my ideal.
