Which DVC studio's have a good mattress on pull out couch?

70 year old person will be sleeping on it. So wonder which DVC you like sleeping on their couch?

I would go with OKW, 2 real queen beds or the new SSR with the Murphy bed that opens over the sofa. None of the sofa beds are all that great.

The VGF is probably the best but I'm not sure I'd recommend any for an adult.

We have had mixed results at the same resort. Some stays the pull out is OK, others not. This has been at BWV, PVB, AKV. I think it is based on the villa, not the resort.

Riviera also - the murphy bed is very very comfortable and is a queen size. It also has a larger "twin" murphy.

Depending on how tall the 70 year old person is, they might be more comfortable sleeping on the pull down twin, instead of the sofa bed. These can be found in the BCV, BWV, BR, VGF and Poly studios.

I’m 69 and personally choose the little pull down even over the regular bed...strange, I know....I am a bit smaller

I haven't met one yet. Best stick with BillPA's advice - go for 2 queens at OKW or one with a murphy bed.

ETA the sofa beds have a 4 inch memory foam mattress on a firm base, the one at BW killed my bad hip when I had to sleep on it.

This 70 yr old person wouldn't sleep on any of the sleeper sofas. If we book a studio, we only book at OKW studio.

Go with the queen Murphy beds at Riviera, newly refurbbed Preferred Studios at SSR, or regular queens at OKW.

First question my adult kids asks when invited along is whether they have to deal with the sofabed.

Silly rabbits: She who pays, get the real bed in the studio. As a bad-back holder I am very picky, not a fan of any of the disney bedding, period. I swear their Queen beds have a smaller width too

I found the poly's sofa beds to be very comfortable. More comfortable than the actual queen bed even.

I'm confused, why is that a sense of humor? Murphy beds have been around since the early 1900's so I guess i'm oblivious.

SSR and most of the others aren’t too bad if you are smaller and just sleep right on the couch. Once you pull it out to make a bed, it’s not very comfortable. You could always stick to the studios that sleep 5 and have the twin Murphy bed.

Cool! I never knew how Murphy beds got their name or why they were invented. I guess the saying is true-"Necessity is the mother of invention."

In Feb 2020...we ask for a foam mattress topper and they brought a new one up...for the sofa sleeper..that worked great!! otherwise for the most part they are all awful...without one..
