Which DVC resort in the Cayman Is. should we pick?

We would like to book one of the Cayman Island resorts through DVC. Has anyone one stayed at either Grand Caymanian Resort or the Royal Reef Resort? Please describe the facilities and if you would go back. Thanks Holly

the damange done by the hurricanes is still around at this resort. Also it seems there is mention of extra charges? most of the reviews are by owners on this resort. I would think both would be fine - but I might go with grand caymanian.

You make it seem so easy to book. I noticed you are new to the boards and possibly DVC. It isn't that easy to exchange and not a wise use of points. Check cash prices at these resorts through redweek.com and directly with the resort or individual owners. Also exchanges can be hard to get. Be prepared to wait and you will need to be very flexible with when you want to go. Maybe with the damage there people will look to trade out this year until the entire island is back online. That could help your case. This is the one area DVC guides are a little deceptive with. They show you al the places you can stay but fail to mention how tough it can be to trade out. Good luck.
