Which DVC Do you like the best?

My husband and I have decided to stay in a studio this coming *** or ***. Can anyone recommend which resort they like the best and why? We are looking for a standard view. Thanks so much!

Maybe it would be easier if you told us a little about what you like.

Which parks do you intend to visit?

Will you have a car?

What are you going to do about food?

By standard view, do you mean that you just want a place to sleep and you don't care about the view?

Also, is your traveling party just you and your husband, or will there be kids along? Most studios are a queen bed and full sleeper sofa (giving more floor space if it is just a couple traveling together) OKW studios have 2 queen beds, which would be more comfortable if others are traveling with you.

Thanks for replying. It will just be my husband and myself going. We love Disney and all of the parks. We do not have a particularly favorite. Points wise, we are just going to go with a studio with a standard view. Since, we have never visted any of the vacation club villas, I just wondered people's preferences. Thank you!

i like AKV due to the animals and theming - if you were planning further in advance, you could request a value studio since it's just the 2 of you.

BCV is very popular since it is a short walk from epcot.

BLT is currently popular since it is new and across the street from the MK.

if you wait too long, SSR might be your only option since it is larger but the rooms are still very nice.

We really like VWL - especially for a winter trip if you can get in. It is very warm & cozy & has lots of fireplaces & nooks to enjoy...woodsy with that Pacific Northwest lodge feel...

You know, it's really hard to pick a favorite. It feels like a different vacation for each of the resorts. That's why we like to try them all. Just make a pick, and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Then you can try a different one next time. Have fun.

Have stayed at all the DVC resorts many times and right now SSR is our favorite.

Love the decor, central location to everything, the Spa, the grounds, the quietest rooms we have ever stayed in at Disney, great staff and our favorite counter service, Artist Pallette.

We have stayed at all of the DVC properties at WDW and like them all for different reasons. My wife and I do enjoy Boardwalk when it is just the two of us.
