Is there a hotel that has a nice pool slide for the kids?

None of the Downtown Disney hotels have a pool slide. However, Buena Vista Palace has the best pool and pool area. Changing room/bathroom, snack bar and poolside bar.

Saratoga Springs DVC restort (close to DTD) has a great pool with 2 slides, one for adults and one for little one's.

The Buena Vista Palace and the Hilton have the nicest pool areas... all other hotels are average.

If you're seeking a slide, try the Sheraton Safari -- less than a 10-minute walk (including traffic lights) from the Best Western, and 20-25 from DTD itself.

I think you should do yourself a favor and check out the pool at Horizons' by Marriott. Besides Stormalong Bay at the Beach Club, I think this is the best pools at Disney for little ones.
