Breakfast or Dinner??? Just wondering, I am really wanting to eat here after reading all the reviews, but I am also wanting to do Ohana's as well, I am really wanting to do Ohana's dinner this year...we loooooved the character breakfast there last year and I am just going back and forth between the two......breakfast or dinner at Kona or breakfast or dinner at Ohana's....not sure which one, so I thought I would see which one is better at Kona Cafe, breakfast or dinner...thanks everyone, I am going crazy trying to get my ADR's scheduled...thanks guys

DH & I did both dinner and breakfast here our last vacation. I enjoyed both but I loved dinner.

Food was superb at both meals! We love Kona.

I'm probably in the minority, but we're not overly impressed with O'Hana. Kona, on the other hand, has great food and service. We pick this one especially is we have a crowd, because it's also more resonably priced than a lot of other TS spots. We also love Kona for breakfast (you've got to try the Tonga toast - pure sugar rush!), so I guess I'm not much help!

The breakfast is ok, but dinner at Kona is a must for us! :thumbsup2

Like BetsyinFL, we were not impressed by Ohana. Atmosphere and view were good, but we were all just generally disappointed in the food quality.
But we did love Kona for both breakfast and dinner. Tonga Toast was very good -- maybe just a little TOO much sugar!
But everyone at our table really enjoyed everything they had ordered for dinner.
Have fun either way.

We are going to do Kona for lunch on our next trip. It'll be a nice place to relax in the middle of a MK day. The lunch prices are a little more gentle than the dinner prices, which is a plus for those not on the dining plan.

We LOVED O'Hana for breakfast last time. Character interaction was great, the dancing was fun for kids, etc. Food was great.

You can get Tonga Toast at Capn Cook so we'll do that while we're there. Kona dinner sounds NICE. Everyone LOVES their dinner while O'hana's dinner gets more mixed reviews; most seem to prefer the breakfast.

I've had breakfast and dinner at Kona and enjoyed both.

IMO, You can't go wrong with either decision.
