Which DJ did you use and reviews?

Hi there!

I was wondering which DJ you all had used for your Disney weddings? & if you liked them?

I am trying to research DJ's who have done Disney area weddings and I cannot seem to find alot of info.

I am specifically looking for someone who is willing to play around 20 songs of our choice (which might be less traditional choices but still appropriate for weddings!) AND who are good announcers for the cake cutting, etc....& tasteful.

I have heard of DJ Chuck and heard positive reviews on him but I cannot seem to find a video sample of his work, just video interviews from brides and grooms & photos of people dancing.....

I would also like to find a few other popular DJ's so I have a few to choose from.

Could you share with me who you used and what you thought of them? Also were they willing to play some music of your choice? I don't want to dictate the entire list, but I would like say in maybe a third of the music selections.

I had DJ Scooter and he was great! Very upbeat, fun and played everything I asked him too. Most DJs give you a list to fill out of the songs to be played or not to be played. Scooter listened to everything we asked. Even in the middle of my wedding I had some requests I thought of and he DL it on the spot. I highly recommend him!

We only have 30 guests and its an afternoon reception, was hoping to get a DJ that is lively and will keep every one entertained, any recommendations?

We had WDW DJ Scott Messina for our wedding and Ken (our WP) recommended him to us. Scott was absolutely FANTASTIC! I could never say enough good things about him as a person and as a professional. He will email you a form to fill out so he can learn exactly who you are as a couple and be sure to make your wedding what you want it to be. One of my goals for the reception was that we'd have a swanky dinner and fun dance party afterwards. He read the crowd and combined our music preferences with what got everyone on the dance floor. It seriously was such a great time thanks to him.

Scott has his own website so you should check it out: www.mycelebritydj.com. There you'll see that he's done weddings and events with some amazingly high profile celebrities like Johnny Damon and Lenny Kravitz. As I said, you are getting a great professional who is really passionate about his job.

I'm sure all the other Dj's are great, but I can assure you that if you can book Scott- you'll be in for a PHENOMENAL RECEPTION!!

We had DJ Frankie. We were not happy. Music is our lives! We gave him about 30 songs we wanted to hear and he only played about 10. We had a young crowd and pretty much no one was dancing. We could have used an I pod and it would have been better.

There's DJ PJ, who has done tons of Disney weddings and has DJ in their parks before. He's has such an upbeat personality; he has tons of energy and very upbeat. He's already WDW approved too. He's with Atomic Entertainment. It's a husband and wife team. He will make any wedding fun and exciting. They listen to your needs and will not play any music request not to. Plus, if you are looking for props like the inflatable guitars and hats, they can do that too. HTH!!!!
