I tried to get Brunch @ Raglan... One of my favorites but its the day we are flying in :( and we will not make it there in time.

We haven't tried the newest DS restaurants, but I can't imagine any of them being less impressive than Raglan Road. Our local Irish restaurants are much better & we live in South Florida. We would choose House of Blues over RR. I also wouldn't choose Bongos, but as I said, I can't speak for the newest DS restaurants.

Don't like saying this but I do not like ANY of the Latino restaurants within WDW.
It's a shame since there are sizable Hispanic communities in FL.

Haven't tried Edison or Terralina yet (and one of those choices I'm not even remotely interested in no matter how wonderful the theming) so that leaves me
to vote "Other", as in the Boathouse, or Morimoto Asia. Can't go wrong there.

Wine Bar George. They are in the running for best single credit dining on property right now.

Thank you!! I appreciate your honesty. I appreciate all the help the disboards give :)

I haven’t heard anything great about any one of them..

it’s a trip that my husband and I are taking together for the very first time by ourselves without kids! :) this is for the day we land, headed to CG at night..
Sadly these seem to be the only restaurants that have an opening. we are staying at SS so we figured we head over to DS for lunch (not really sure what the hotel offers for food) maybe a counter service lunch in the springs is best ?! Clueless without the kids in tow! Lol lol

Step away from the Disney app or website. Go to OpenTable.com. Most DS restaurants have many booking options on open table than Disney.

Can I ask what the difference is between Eddison's lunch and dinner that makes it such a drastic "lunch ok never dinner" choice? We were looking at Eddison for our DS trip (it just looks fun?)

If you do a TS for lunch, will you be too full to sample all the yummy desserts at DS? I'm trying to figure out how to eat a little "regular" food and still leave room for gelato, pastry, chocolate, etc.

THIS is very good advice. I checked with Dear Wife... and we are pretty sure that these are ALL "Third Party".
... which can be a VERY GOOD thing. Open Table works well - we've used it often when WDWDINE tanks. Also a good choice for Swan/Dolphin dinning :).

If thinking of a QS, try Wolfgang Puck's Express. I would probably try Wine Bar George without kids

our Boathouse lunch was great. Be careful when ordering a salad and adding on shrimp. I added 6 shrimp and it was $4 per shrimp on the $8 salad. delicious but if you aren't comfortable with paying $32+tax+tip for a salad... watch out.

Only eaten at Bongos from ur list....Never again...Liked the Boathouse but its pricey!

Bongos was not very good.
Ditto...:( Rick Bayles' Frontera Cucina is my next "new" to try. So many new offerings at DS. Tried Wine Bar George last weeks, loved the food (get a table with chairs, those red stools a awful and uncomforatble). The Edison, has a neat inside.... service needs a bit of refinement, the food was good.

At lunchtime we've always been able to just walk in at Homecomin' and sit at the bar. That would be my choice :)

We had lunch last Saturday at House of Blues and it was very good. Polite Pig is delicious if you are interested in counter service.

No to Bongos

Boathouse and Morimoto's are 2 of our favorites, for a fun lunch T-REX, RainForest, or Planet Hollywood, especially if you have kids they will love it. We are trying Terralina next weekend. Raglan Road is another good spot for any meal, I have heard the Polite Pig has pretty good food, we haven't tried it yet, but are planning to soon.

Of three, I have the three, I have only eaten at Bongo's. Tried it twice (in case the first time was a fluke), but each time the food was okay at best, and service was poor. Never again. Same about Paridiso 37 Outside of the two other ones on your list, I have eaten at all of the the other TS restaraunts at Disney Springs except for STK. Fronterra is our go to place. I also like House of Blues and Morimoos. The rest are good, so are still in play depending on what our mood is.

The menu looks good at Raglan Road and would like to try it but the noise would send me over the edge. I prefer having a meal where I can actually talk to the people I'm with. I'm very sensitive to loud noise. I almost never eat in a restaurant with loud music.

I really liked Ragland Road. Good food and experience and the atmosphere was terrific. Earl of sandwich which is a QS was tasty as well.
