Hi

We are pricing to go back in November, and the selected hotels are coming up at between £62 and £75 per night. We have already been to the Kyriad, and although it is fine, the rooms are a bit cramped, and we fancy a change.

Which is your preference of Explorers, Dream Castle and Holiday Inn?

Thanks

We have used the Explorers and The Holiday Inn. Both are good value but we prefer the Explorers as it has more for the kids to do. The pool is themed with slides and a pirate ship. There is also a ball play area. We did find the Holiday Inn pool very cold when we were there !

The Dream castle looks the best to me, it also has the best reviews on tripadvisor.

We have stayed at both Explorers and Holiday Inn and liked them both and would stay at either again.

As already mentioned the Explorers has the better pool and childrens play area. The theming is perhaps better as well.

However Holiday Inn has air conditioning. It also had tea /coffee facilities which were replenished every day whereas in Explorers you just got one lot to start you off (and it was only paper cups)

There were 3 of us in the room (DH, myself and DD-7) and we found there was adequate room. DD liked HI as it had a curtained off area round her bed and she had her own TV. Whereas you can get the exra adjoining rooms at Explorers which can give you more space.

One thing we liked about HI was you could book without breakfast which suited us as we wanted to get intot he parks early and then grabbed a pain au chocolat after doing EMH (with dream APs)

As I say we would quite happily stay at either again

We've stayed in the Holiday Inn which was fine although the breakfast is appalling IMHO. The Explorers has always appealed and with a family of 5 would be most suitable if we were not going to Davy Crockett Ranch :)

Just out of interest: Why only the selected hotels? In November you can usually get B&B rates at the Santa Fe for less than £50 and the awesome Cheyenne for £55ish. Sequia lodge is normally below £100. You'd also benefit from the extra park hours.

I wouldn't even consider staying off site.

Mind, that's just me.

I'm not knocking the other hotels, I'll bet there are some great ones.

I just like to stay near the magic. At least close enough to walk to the parks.

Not to mention extra magic hours, good morning fantasyland breakfasts, shopping pick up service etc.

Per room? Where would I get these rates?! Very interested!

Yes, per room per night.

I paid that last November when I went. I stayed in the Santa Fe and it was £48 a night. We were going to stay in the Holiday Inn untill I saw the Disney rates!

I booked through Expedia but it comes up saying there's no rooms for November this year. It might be worth phoning Disney direct and asking them for the room only rates.

I got them last year on Expedia. I'd imagine it's be a similar price this year but for some reason I can't find the November rates on Expedia.

I just rang disney direct using the number on their website. Cheyenne was full, and Santa Fe was £508 for 4 nights! Think I will be resorting to the selected hotels!

Did that £508 include park tickets? It was definetly alot cheaper than that last year.

Expedia has October rates of £85 a night for the Cheyenne in October and it's normally cheaper in November.

No it was B&B, and I told them I had an annual pass so it may have been with a 10% discount! It was £744 half board!

Don't forget disney rooms include your passes to get in and if you have the passport ring the hotel direct. The cheapest week we have found is 5 days commencing 19th November. We have 3 nights/4 days for 2 adults and 2 kids, passes, taxes and breakfast for £352 which I thought was a fantastic price. This is for Sequoia Lodge checking in on 19th Nov. beware the Frehnch bank holiday the weekend before. if you check via the disneylandparis.com website when you enter the date of the holiday you want a little box comes up and shows you when the cheapest times are to book. Cheap times mean quiet times!! Check the Disneyland website, £85 per day for 4 of us including admission is a very good price. Expedia are out of rooms so go the disney direct as they do have them available.

I just rang Cheyenne direct and they said that they could only give me prices up to 8 November, and for dates after that I had to contact central reservations :headache:

Will try again tomorrow!

Have a look on the disneylandparis.com website, go to the top of the page, choose hotels and then choose the cheyenne, choose the date you are looking for and it'll give you a price. I booked mine online - even if you are not booking you can get prices from the site or find the best time for going.

That website only has the package prices. The package includes passes which are worthless to anyone with an AP.

Expedia have prices up until the 3rd of November. I'd imagine the prices for the rest of November will be released soon.

You could try the Disney booking line again, they're very hit and miss and some staff seem more helpful than others. Stress the fact that you have AP's and that you you don't require a package.

Just thought I'd send this thread back to the top as Expedia now have prices for November and they are very good! In mid November it is £40 a night for the Santa Fe and £53 a night for the Cheyenne!

And we were going to go for the Dream Castle but have opted for Sequoia Lodge which works out about £30 a night more for our stay but lets us in for EMH...

Expedia have lots of Disney hotels available for November for VERY reasonable prices.
