Which discount is best for Halloween 2003???

Hi, Our next cruise is March 2003. I am also considering a Halloween 2003 cruise. In your opinions, what would be the best discount strategy?

1. Book the Halloween 2003 cruise while on the ship in March 2003 to get the Castaway Club discount?

2. Book anytime before April 2003 to get the early booking discount?

3. Wait until I receive the Fall Fantasy package postcard in the mail (or when it is announced elsewhere) and go with that for Halloween 2003.

4. Book either with #1 or #2 above and then "rebook" when Fall Fantasy comes out. Is this possible? Is this a good idea?

There are a few things I am worried about. Will they still be giving Castaway Club discounts in March 2003 when booking on the ship? Also, when does the Fall Fantasy package become available? if I wait until the Fall Fantasy package is announced, will I run the risk of the Halloween cruise being booked solid or all the staterooms with verandas being booked solid?

Oh, I just LOVE obsessing over all these details.

Well, they kinda did away with Fall Fantasy packages anyway, so don't wait to book. The Castaway Club credit would be great, but if might be offset by the early booking savings from booking now. I would book now and then compare the price you have with what is being offered while on the ship. If the new booking would be a better deal, rebook and cancel the existing reservation.

I would book ASAP while the rates are down. If Disney offers a cheaper rate while you are on board in March call while still on the ship and ask for your current rate to be lowered to new rate. Remember to take along your reservation information for your Halloween cruise.
We did this and got an additional $600. off plus onboard credits. We may see you there.

Ginger, I am thinking about the 3 night Wonder for Halloween 2003. I have never been on the Wonder. Is that the one you will be on or are you doing the 7 day?
Do adults dress up too? I hope so! I love dressing up for Halloween.
